Welcome to the Klooniverse

After uploading our first video to YouTube in 2010, we quickly became obsessed with turning ideas that made us laugh into content for the internet.

With time we honed our skills and one year later we had our first viral video, “Tit for Tat,” which hit the number one spot on reddit. At this point we were pretty sure we had “made it.”

We had not.

  • We began collaborating with our fellow YouTubers and even were finalists on “Internet Icon,” Ryan Higa’s internet reality show for upcoming creators.

  • As our audience began to grow, so did our understanding of our creative voice. We embraced our Burning Man roots and produced a whole lot of “playfully thought-provoking” content.

Our penchant for social critique, and specifically our love for poking fun at consumerism, led us to discover our true calling: commercial parodies. With this format we learned to embrace the mystery that most captivates the online audience: “Is this real?” Our satire always walking the line to push on the internet’s suspension of disbelief without losing it completely.

After “Sisters” hit the front page of reddit, the kind and over-worked producers from The Ellen Show reached out.
